What This Site Processes
- Account and authentication data for registered users through Supabase, including email address and session-related data.
- Organizer application data that users submit, including name, email, city, area, motivation, and any duplicate-city explanation they choose to provide.
- City and walk management data entered by approved organizers or admins, such as descriptions, Telegram links, Meetup links, and scheduling details.
- Public city and event information that is displayed on the site once published.
- Technical request and security data that is necessary to deliver the site and protect the service.
Why The Data Is Used
- To run the website and authenticate users.
- To review organizer applications and manage organizer access.
- To publish city pages and event information.
- To send organizer-related notification emails when that workflow is triggered.
- To maintain the security, stability, and integrity of the service.
Service Providers and External Services
- Supabase is used for authentication, database storage, and related backend functions.
- Vercel is used to host and deliver the application.
- Cloudflare is used for DNS, TLS, and security at the domain perimeter.
- Google Places and Google Maps services are used to search and verify city locations and to generate map links or map imagery where applicable.
- Meetup is used as an external source for community and event links and for event synchronization where configured.
- Telegram is linked as an external community destination. Visiting those links takes users to Telegram-controlled services.
- Resend may be used through the deployed notification function to deliver organizer notification emails.
Cookies and Tracking
- This version of the site does not include a marketing analytics or advertising tracker.
- The application does use the technical cookies or session mechanisms required for login and authenticated operation.
- If non-essential analytics or marketing tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools go live.
Sharing and Disclosure
- Personal data is shared only where needed to operate the service, deliver infrastructure, process organizer workflows, or comply with legal obligations.
- CryptoWalk does not claim to sell personal data.
Retention
- Data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the operation of the platform, the handling of organizer workflows, compliance obligations, or the defense of legal claims.
- Published city and event information may remain visible until it is changed or removed by the operator or an authorized organizer.
Your Rights
- Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability.
- You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
